Moving Sidewalk

At the airport – O’Hare – I saw and used a moving sidewalk.

I think that these things are like God’s will. It is headed in a definite direction, and has a definite terminus.

If you go with it – that is go with God’s will – then you will move fast. If you just stay still and do not move, you will still reach that unavoidable end. If you fight it and try to walk backwards, you will still reach the end of the sidewalk. It will take you longer, but you will get there. So? Why fight God’s will?
