Then there is the resurrection of Creation. … I like the sound of this.

Moving Sidewalk

At the airport – O’Hare – I saw and used a moving sidewalk.

I think that these things are like God’s will. It is headed in a definite direction, and has a definite terminus.

If you go with it – that is go with God’s will – then you will move fast. If you just stay still and do not move, you will still reach that unavoidable end. If you fight it and try to walk backwards, you will still reach the end of the sidewalk. It will take you longer, but you will get there. So? Why fight God’s will?

On Growing Old

Age-ing is not the process of growing older. It is the process of not being where you ought to be or whether others tell you, that you ought to be, at certain stages in life.

The more the oughts, the older you are.
